How do you pronounce this website name?. ji-ji-yap, ji-yap, ji-jiyap.
None. It is a simple acronym of Ganesan Iyer, Jayaraman and Iyappan – that is – the first names of three generation in the founder family, so it should be read as G-J-Iyap !.
Is it simple (or) Is it complicated?. In an oxymoron style it is “simply complicated”.
All our roots are of similar type and pattern. Similar to the basics of Science, Mathematics and Spirituality – our roots have common ground as ‘values’. While these values are vast and diverse, they converge at some point in bringing the best of each individual in their own right.
Through this entity (g-j-iyap), we will be exploring the values of one-self in the self-exploration way. This will be a long journey and travels through road-less-travelled path, but aimed at bringing a change in the environment where-we-live.
As explained above, the nomenclature is derived from the basis of the founder’s root, which is well known to him. And the journey will continue to dwell further – with the help of archival, references, proofs, supporting and even the stories of previous generation, still exist in the regions, where they lived.
The founder pledges to capture those roots and the branches along with their values in a discrete manner and pass on to the future generations. A simple coincidence, the founder has named his daughter as ‘Vishaka’, derived from the root (parents) name Vidya & Iyappan joined with the hindi word for branch (शाखा) – V-I-Shaka.
